Out of curiosity, does Bahamut appear in FFXI? I've heard that FFXI flung almost every FF tradition out the window.

i really dont know if bahamut appear in FFXI but yeah FFXI is like a different kind of game...but some FF concept is still there(the name and other stuff) ...i guess they made FFXI to compete with the other Online games right now...

I think he does. I have seen some screenshots of him in FFXI. He looks really cool in that games Very Happy

Odin is just better than Gilgamesh...

Besides, odin is a badas summon, who comes in, kills and goes away. And Gilgamesh is... well he usually is connected rom the one in FFV... he's funny, but not so cool as odin

I'm afraid the idea of Gilgamesh not having Odin's Zantetzuken (slashes all enemies for an instant KO) is not true.

Odin's Attack:
1. Zantetzuken (slashes all enemies for an instant KO, except Boss)
2. Spirit Lance (hits one monster/Boss for a certain amount of damage)

Gilgamesh:
1. Zantetzuken (slashes all enemies for an instant KO,except Boss)
2. Excalibur (deals damage to all enemies, damage depends on average level of your characters)
3. Masamune (deals damage to all enemies, damage depends on average level of your characters)
4. Excalipoor (deals pathetic 1 dmg to all enemies)

Let me get this clear, Gilgamesh DO have Zantetzuken(spelling might be wrong lol).
