Gamecube games
Ok. It's friday afternoon. My mid-semester break hs just started. Knowing my PS2 is temporarily out of action I look to my Gamecube for something to fill boring patches in my holidays (yeah, I'm not too excited either, lol). So I walk out of Uni and up to the city mall. Into EB Games I go to the Gamecube selection - about 20 games - and look for Tales of Symphonia...They don't have it. Hmmm. Maybe Baten Kaitos will be good too...No, because its $99 (full price). I then have a look at another shop but they don't have Gamecube games. Into Taget and they have about 4 GC games, lol, including Baten Kaitos for $99 .
My point is, lol, sorry it took so long. Why are GC games so expensive?
I thought that because it was an unpopular system that the prices would eventually go down, but it's more expensive than any PS2 or Xbox game of the same age.
Just another reason to keep that purple box locked away in the garage. lol

Yeah I mentioned something similar to this in another topic (except without the prices but the lack of games) I wanted the GC to be awesome but personally I have no idea how they are making enough money to survive.

They do get a number of sales from Pokemon merchandises and GBA handheld games I assume.
The GC is probably just another console out there for them and they figured that they're way too far behind the ps2 and x-box to play the "cheap games" trick on consumers to get back better profits and it would actually cause them to lose sales. (Also they probably reverence the fact that even if DC had cheap good games, it didn't save the system sales.)

Yeah, Metroid Prime 2 is still going for $50 in my area, and it's what, 2 years old now? The big N seems determined to keep the prices of the 'Cube games the same instead of dropping prices like they have in the past. It's a strange tactic.

My country lay within a vast desert. When the sun rose into the sky, a burning wind punished my lands, searing the world. And when the moon climbed into the dark of night, a frigid gale pierced our homes. No matter when it came, the wind carried the same thing. Death. But the winds that blew across the green fields of Hyrule brought something other than suffering and ruin. I coveted that wind, I suppose." ~ Ganondorf. |

better clarify that, ask which state. anything further could lead to problems
best not to give people on the internet your city and address. (or school)
ironicly i think that if you dig deep enough on this forum, you will know alot about me. and could probably track me down if you wanted...
