Alright, I had this idea of actually writing a short story with actual Funender members in it. I'd like to explain more, so pay attention if you can. I shall explain the story, or the main concept of it, before making you understand how it will all work.
It's year 2009, and the most dangerous virus suddenly attacks the World Wide Web, disabling every single website from working, including anything on the internet except one forum, Funender. It is unknown where from or how did the Virus appear and penetrate the Internet, but what is known, is that it wasn't made on Earth. Several days later the US government opens up to the world and explain that the virus was sent from outer space, by something unknown, yet dangerous. The virus is said to be a warning of surrender to the Earth, or else, there would be consequences. The government holds a meeting and tries to defend Earth, but it all turns out to be just another failure.
It is unknown why Funender wasn't affected, and that is why the members of the forum decide to hold a meeting in real life, discussing the matter that has been going on lately. Little does anyone know, that the 'alien' race has sent their first wave of attack towards Earth. While at the meeting, a large asteroid hits the surface of the Earth nearby, sending an instant radiation wave that killed almost every single living creature and matter nearby, but the members of the meeting. Shocked, in panic and distressed, the members then find out that each of them was given an ability unlike any other in the world, which allows them to use it to their advantage. Now that a second attack is on the way, can the heroes of Funender stop it?

That's basically the plot of the short story I am about to write. Now the story will use any members willing to join the project, all you have to do is fill in the following template and state your reasons for joining, other than that, it's all up to you. remember though, you have to use yourself as the character you will be using, that means you can't create or come up with a fictional character. You have to post up 'yourself' as your character with your forum name or original name, it doesn't matter. below is what you need to do:
The template explain what information you need to input, on how to input it correctly:
Name: ( use your original name, or the name from the forum, but please change your name if it is really complicated. EX: Forum name: hellion_76. That would be a little weird if you had a character in the story with that name. You can change it to simply : Hellion, which sounds and looks on the storyline better.)
Age: (use your current age that you are at in your real life, we want to keep this story really based on the true life members of Funender.)
Description: ( now this comes with a description of yourself, you have to describe the way you look in real life, and also you require a profile picture to be posted up, best would be a full body picture of yourself, and the clothing you will be wearing during the short story. Both picture and the description are necessary.)
Personality: (now you can use your imagination, you can either create a personality for your character in the story or type in your own personality that you have in real life.)
Ability: ( this is the part you should think of most. You have one ability to choose from, it can be anything in a moderate sense. You can make yourself control and create fire, but you cannot destroy a planet with one single explosion. Nothing overrated, keep it all in terms of moderate amounts. It can be a power with many different minor abilities, but nothing major please.)
That is all you need to fill in. If you are interested, post in below with your template, if you have any suggestions, post them as well, if you feel like just asking questions, type in something as well.
Description: Long haired Beauty, stud muffin. i wear long sleeved clothing with dark pants. 6' 2" and 260lbs of muscle, OH and 30lbs of fat... appearances look like a football jock who acts like a Nerd... could easily fight 20 eight year old's and win.
Personality: Know-it-all (you know i'm like this), Nerd, and a smooth bullshitter.
Ability: Mind reader, but i never reveal that i have this power. i use it only to know the person better. i have an innate ability to slightly predict the future, i have visions randomly of what will happen next and is not an ability i can all upon when i need it. as for dialogue i have a unique ability to debate things i know nothing about. i also have the ability to bs like crazy... i can bs myself out of many situations. my abilities combined give me great insight into who a person is and what is going to happen next, as well as get me out of any kind of encounter safely.
Skills: Computer programming, driving without drawing attention, insulting people, making insensitive jokes.

Im wearing shorts (hopefully its warm with all that radiation)and sandles, some sunglasses of course and im pretty perky given its the morning hours before the meeting. Ive had my coffee at this point.
personality: I'm easy going and constantly tell people "no worries". I try and look at the birght side of things, but when things are really bad, i usually kick it up a notch and just lose it. this might involve large amount of caffeine being consumed, some shots of whiskey, and a bat.
ability: my power would be the power of Improbability. now when you study physics and particle physics, we dont really know whats going on when everything is sooo tiny, but the basic idea is that anything is possible, just really really really unlikely. for instance, i could make a grilled cheese sandwich and the second i start to cook it on the flame of a stove, my house turns into a dune buggy and im in death valley. so right to it, when i focus hard enough i can make all those improbable acts just as probably as the cheese in my sandwhich melting when i put it over the flame. So though i cant choose what will happen, it is random and always completely unexpected. sometimes good, sometimes bad lol. i think it fits me quite well ^^.
Description: 5'8, medium build, dark brown loong hair, usually curly-messy to the extent of knots xD [can keep pens and stuff in it xD] Eyes alter between light blue and light green. Usual wardrobe consists of a casual tee, some kind of cardi, jeans and pumps, all darkish hues.
Hidden:
Personality: Gives off a good first impression and tries to be liked by everybody and it generally works, but deep down is a very good liar and can be very convincing - always uses it to her advantage. Enjoys adrenaline, and usually will be the first to do something daring, but is very laid-back and forgetful. Hard working and stronger/tougher than first expected, but has a weakness when it comes to animals! On this note: Is always being compared to a cat in mannerisms [pawing at something, carling in a ball to sleep etc]
Ability: Power of persuasion and trust. This cannot be controlled but she is aware of it. People trust her to the extent of telling secrets to and confiding in her and she can use this information to her and the party's advantage and/or to blackmail.

You do not have a picture of yourself, and you have to use your self as a character, not someone made up. Thank you for your first reply, wingzero.
