Any hopes of a forum search feature? It would be nice to be able search the forums for key words when we are looking for information on certain things.

I'm sure there used to be a Search function some time ago, but when I wanted to use it once I couldn't find it. XD

unfortunately, yes, you are probably alone... we had a very nice and advanced forum search and it was removed after a poll found that no one used it. It was wasting server resources.

surely it would only be wasting server resource while people are using it?
because the little one that you have now is still indexing probably as much as the other one.

With nearly 700,000 posts and the search database indexing a lot of common words, the database for it is HUGE  That is why you may notice a lot of other large forums use Google Search like this one, disable the search feature entirely, or they have a long 60 second delay between searches due to how it sucks up so much space. I wish that the Google search here was more accurate like how it is used on Myspace.
