i have to say, it was a good, show, but it wasn't as popular as they wanted it to be. I thought the Serenity movie was better than the series though.

i dont know, i think the movie was only better because i had seen the series before hand.
the movie was meant to be a stand alone thing that you could watch from not seeing the series but i think youd miss some things if you didnt see the series before hand.

I wish I would have seen this series when it first came out. I really liked every episode. I saw the movie first though. They need to make more "Crummy future" type series as opposed to star trek where everything is clean and nice.

i also saw it in that order.
worked out fine for me, i freaking love the series after watching them straight through for about a day.

i cant be for sure when i say this because i saw the series after it went off the air as well, but its got to be at least 3 years since it went off the air. that would be my guess.

Bad time slot-Wrong Network. I always thought a Dark Angel Firefly night would have given the show a better audience.
