finding users profiles
i need to give some gil to a group of funender members who answered a contest correctly; is there a way to search for users to find their profiles in order to donate to them?

well... if they won the dontest you can find a post they made right? should be that hard. right from that post below the amount of gil they have is the donate link. takes you right to the proper screen.

Funny you bring this up since last week I was going to make usernames links to profiles (default feature that I removed for SEO) and then submit the data to Google so that the search engine can spider user profiles better to make the search feature here more reliable. I will go ahead and do that now.
EDIT
Ok on the index page and forum pages the usernames that you see assigned to topics are links to user profiles. I will create a sitemap script of user profiles now and submit the data to Google to spider so hopefully that will make it easier for you guys to search for user profiles.

Alrighty sitemap is complete and submitted. Hopefully Google will pick up on it within a few weeks and make it easier for you guys to search for profiles.
