Items Trading
Items can be exchanged privately between players using the "Trade" and "Gift" options. These can be accessed by clicking the "Actions" button on the top right-hand corner of the inventory page, or going to the bottom of your inventory.
Trading
To trade click the Trade button, then select who you want to trade with. You can use the "Find username" link if you do not know their full name. Once a person to trade with has been specified, click on the "Execute button". You will then be taken to a page where you can select what you wish to trade.
Setting up a trade
On the trading page, there are several drop down menus.
In the "You're offering" section, you will have to select the item for trade, the quantity you wish to trade, then click "Add item"; do this for all the items you wish to trade. If you are offering gil, you have to specify the amount that you wish to offer, and click "Add gil".
You will then need to enter in what is being given/asked by the other player in return. To do this, you will need to go to the "You're currently requesting" section, select items their item to be traded, and click "Add item". Alternatively, if the deal was with gil, you have to enter in the amount of gil being requested, and click "Add gil".
Accepting a trade
If you have been offered a trade, you will see a "trade notification" message at the bottom of all the RPG pages. At the bottom of your inventory, it will show the player who has proposed the trade, what you are being offered, and what the trader wants in return. You can either click "accept" or "reject", which are found on either side of the trade information area.
Gifts
To give a gift click the Gift button. You will need to select the item to be gifted, the quantity, and the person to receive the gift(s). You can use the "Find username" link if you do not know their full name. Once all three steps have been taken, click on the "Execute button". You will then be taken to a page where you can confirm whether you wish to send the gift item(s) or not. Once you select "Yes" the item(s) are sent.

Chocobos General Information
Background
Chocobos are small, yellow birds which can be found randomly in the Battle Arena, at level 10 and above. Chocobos are vary shy, and will run very readily.
Catching Chocobos
To catch a Chocobo, a Chocobo item has to be used. There is a chance that it will not be captured when the first item is used- in this case it will start attacking you, and several items may be needed to capture one. On some occasions the Chocobo will not be captured at all.
Chocobo Items
All Chocobo items are rares. They can be obtained as a drop from battle, stolen from Brumos using the Steal Ability, as a gift from the "Brumos Charity Foundation" after a donation or after shopping in the RPG Shop. They can also be bought from the RPG Auctions, or from other players.
All the existing Chocobo items except the Chocobo egg can be used in the capture of Chocobos, and they are listed below.
Greens
Greens can also be used to feed Chocobos. There are four types of these.
Mimett Greens can only be used by those at level 10 or above.
Gysahl Greens can only be used by those at level 20 or above.
Pahsana Greens can only be used by those at level 30 or above.
Sylkis Greens can only be used by those at level 40 or above.
Other Chocobo Items
Chocobo Icy Pop- cures "angry" effect.
Chocobo Soda- cures "sleepy" effect.
Chocobo Soup- cures "sick" effect.
Carob Nut- Used for breeding Chocobos, and require a minimum level of 20 for use.
Zeio Nut- Used for breeding, requires a minimum level of 30 for use.
Chocobo Farm
Once 6 Chocobos have been captured, you can approach Chocobo Billy, in the Chocobo Farm, to buy your own farm for 20,000 gil. This will give you enough stalls to keep 6 Chocobos. If you want more stalls, an extra one can be bought for 5,000 gil, up to a maximum of 8 spaces in total, from Chocobo Billy.

Taking Care of Chocobos
Arrival
When chocobos are placed into the farm, you are given the option of naming it. This helps with identification later on, in the races.
Chocobo Stats
Chocobos are given random stats when they first appear in the Chocobo Farm. These are listed below:
STA- for stamina
DEX- dexterity
REC- receptivity
These stats will have a major bearing on the Chocobo races, due to be implemented at a later date.
Feeding
Chocobos will need to be fed once everyday, to keep them at their optimum.
Status Effects
Chocobos can suffer from status effects, these are listed below, together with their cures.
Sick- cured by feeding a Choco Soup.
Sleepy- cured by feeding a Choco Soda.
Angry- cured by feeding a Choco Icy Pop.
By curing a status effect, the chocobo increases their stats.
Status Effects can be caused artificially, to give bigger stat gains. These items and the status effect caused are found below:
Sick- can be caused by feeding a Choco Icy Pop.
Sleepy- can be caused by feeding a Choco Soup.
Angry- can be caused by feeding a Chocobo Soda.
Chocobo Levels
A Chocobo gains experience every single time it is fed. Once it reaches a certain amount of experience, it automatically levels up. At the current moment the experience bar is not visible, so the level-up experience remains a mystery.
Chocobo Breeding
Carob Nuts or Zeio nuts are required for successful breeding. Breeding can only occur between chocobos which have attained level 10.

RPG Bank Guide
The RPG Bank can be found near the top, together with the other RPG buttons.
The RPG bank allows you to store your gil. An interest rate of 3.2% is paid on your account balance every week, on Sundays. Interest on your account will only be paid if you have sufficient Karma for that week. Karma is gained by visiting the forums; one Karma is gained per daily visit. Further information about Karma can be found in the Funender.com rules or the Karma announcement. When withdrawing gil, there is a 2.2% withdrawal fee is applied to the amount of gil you withdraw; which means 2.2% of your withdrawn amount is deducted from your bank account in addition to the amount of gil you want to withdraw.
The maximum amount that any account can hold is 9,999,999 gil. Interest paid on the maximum amount will not appear on the account itself.
Please note that if you are Camping, you may stand the chance of losing gil from your bank account. However, if you use the Inn, this will not happen.
At the bottom of the bank page, there is also an option to donate gil to the Brumos Charity Foundation. This donation will go to a randomly-selected player. If you donate, you may also receive a Free Hat, Free T-Shirt, or a "Green" used for capturing and feeding chocobos.
The maximum amount of gil in-hand which can be kept is 99,999,999 gil.

RPG Ebay Guide
The RPG Ebay is found near the top of the forums, next to the other RPG buttons. The RPG Ebay is used for selling items from the RPG to other players. It allows you to put your items up for bids from other players, and bid on items which have been put up for auction.
Viewing bids
When you click the RPG Ebay link, a page with all the auctions which are currently running will be displayed. The owner of each item auction is displayed to the left of each auction. The auctions are listed in order of the date they first started, with the newest auctions at the top. Near the bottom, there are also "Browse Auctions" and "Create a new auction" buttons. Clicking on an item will bring you to the item's auction page. This displays the shop information of the item at the top.
At the side, the owner of the auction item, the number of bids and the highest bid is displayed. The timescale of the auction is also displayed, as well as the time remaining before the auction closes.
Further down, the starting bid price, the price increment, current price of the auction, and the player levels which can bid, are displayed. For a price guide on bidding on the RPG Ebay, visit the auction guide, which is found in the RPG forums.
Bidding
Making Bids
Your bid must be at least one price increment above the last bid for it to be registered. Once you have clicked "place bid", all you have to do is wait. Please note that bids cannot be retracted, and you can only bid up to the maximum of amount of gil you have in hand.
Winning bids
You win the item if your bid was the last entry before the auction closed. Upon winning you will receive a message notifying you of your success.
Paying bids
You have to revisit the auction that you made, and click "pay now". If you do not have enough gil, you can go to your bank account to withdraw some. However, it is advisable to have enough gil in hand to pay for your auction at all times, as you are only given 3 days to pay up. If the bid is not payed by the end of the three days, the owner of the auction can remove the item from the auction.
Auctioning items
When the RPG Ebay link is clicked, the main auction page will be displayed. Select the "Create a new auction" option near the bottom. A list of items in your inventory will be shown. Select the items you wish to put up for auction. A title and short description will be needed for your auction. The starting price for the auction, the bid increment and range of players who can bid will also need to be specified. Finally, the duration of the auction has to be set. This can determine how much you receive for your auctioned items- the ideal time frame is 1-3 days. Then the "Begin Auction" option should be selected, and your auction will appear on the main page. Should you ever need to take your items off the auction, please be aware that there is a 10% penalty fee applied to the highest bid for the withdrawal of your item.

RPG Forums Information
Main forum area
The RPG forums is the place for discussing matters relating to the RPG game. Before posting, please note that there is a "Contests" sub-section, which can be accessed by anyone. There is also a "Items for trade" and a "Newly Added Items" sub-section, both requiring the user to be logged in before becoming viewable. Please post relevant threads in these sections, and not in the main RPG forum area.
Suggestions for the RPG game can be made in this thread.
Common topics include achievements, such as "Getting a gold star" to mark over a year's membership in the forums; questions on items, such as " Christmas Presents contents", and comments/announcements, such as FuNEnD3R's surprise update".
Sub-forums
Contests
The Contests sub-section is a fun area where richer players hold contests for others. A popular contest is this thread, which has been active for over a year. There are also several "giveaway" threads, such as this one.
Items for trade
The Items for Trade sub-section is used for advertising your ebay auctions, or for private trades. Threads in this area are usually for "Rares", which cannot be found in the RPG Shop. These trading threads usually last for much longer than 5 days, although sometimes you may find that items are cheaper here than at the auctions.
Newly added items
The Newly Added Items section lists all the items which have been approved and added to the RPG game by FuNEnD3R. Each item has its own thread, with a link to the suggested item, and a note thanking the suggestor. Each thread also has a poll on how good you think the item is. Comments or suggestions on each new item can also be posted in the respective thread.
Referral centre
The Referral Centre is used for referring friends to this site. Not only this a good site and worth referring people to, if they register and activate their account, you will also get 10,000 gil per referral.

Useful Information for New Players
Gil management
1. Don't change equipment at every level; leave it for several levels. For weapons I recomment changing every 5 levels for melee classes. For other equipment every 6/7 levels is sufficient.
2. Above level 40, use Phoenix Downs to recover from death.
3. Hunt around the RPG Shop - some equipment is cheaper in other sub-sections of the shop.
4. Check the auctions regularly, you may well find weapons there that you want, at a much lower price than at the shops.
5. For MP classes, Angel Tears may be cheaper at times than going to the inn to heal MP.
6. Make sure you have enough Brumos Repels, it will save you losing a battle and having to revive and replenish HP/MP.
8. If you are stuck and have no gil, consider posting in the forums. Please do not spam, or post threads with the same meaning several times and do not double-post, as double-posts will not give you any gil.
9. At higher levels it may be more economical to buy healing items instead of going to the Inn if the amount to be healed is small.
Battle
1. The most obvious: check that your character has near-maximum figures for HP and MP before battle.
2. Acquire a low-MP cost spell if your class allows you to do so.
3. Run from the bosses if you can't use any spells. And its not advisable to fight a boss below level 20.
Miscellaneous
1. Check the auction guide before bidding in the RPG Ebay, to make sure you aren't being ripped-off.
2. Try to pick a class that isn't too hard, as it will help ease you into the game. Currently, the hardest classes are Archer, Sniper, Robot, ProRobot, Monk and Master Monk.

Rares and Rare Hunters
Rares
Some items, called rares, cannot be purchased from the shops. In your inventory, they stand out by having a "View Details" button in the place of "Shop Info". These items can only be obtained as a Brumos drop, trading with other players, or by using a Strange Ticket at the slot machine. Rares can be items of equipment, such as the Elite Weapon, or can be collectibles, such as Command Materia. There are also stat raising items, and items which give you gil or experience. The rares which are commonly asked about are explained below.
Stat-raising items are a common type of rare. For more information on stat rares, please read the FAQ section titled "Items Guide".
Brumos Phone cards give you 1000 gil if used, however, if they are auctioned, they may go for over 10 times their face value, as they are rares. They can be obtained as brumos drop.
Government Cheese can be consumed for 10 Experience points. Selling it to a collector, or keeping it as a rare, is a much better option than using it.
Paychecks give 1000 gil when used, but again, it will be worth much more if it was sold. Paychecks are found as a Brumos drop, or occasionally as "compensation" in the slot machine, if you get only two fruit correct.
Bizzare Horns can be combined in the Cauldron with other items to yield another rare. They are found as Brumos drops, or occasionally you may get them when buying an item from the RPG Shop.
Strange Tickets can be used for in the slot machine, found at the RPG Shop, or can be combined in the cauldron to yield other rares. These are found as Brumos drops, from buying an item from the RPG Shop, or can be given to you for suggesting an item which was approved.
Rare hunting/rare hunters:
These people actively seek rares, and use all their gil for the sole purpose of buying as many rares as possible. To become a rare hunter, it is recommended that you have at least 1 million in gil. Preferably you will have mastered a class before starting to hunt rares, as you will have gained lots of gil over the course of mastering the class. Rare hunting is very competitive; last-minute bids on rares in the RPG Ebay are very common. However, rare hunters do possess impressive inventories, with which they can show-off to the outside world. The amount of rares that a player has can also be used as a marker of how wealthy a player is.
Steal Ability
The Steal Ability enables you to steal items from Brumos during battle. This means more items per battle than otherwise, and when used on Brumos Bosses, a Boss Item may be obtained. This ability is only granted to those who have mastered the Thief class, although it may also be bought from other players. However, people are only given the steal ability once- mastering the thief ability a second time will not mean another steal ability; this also applies to anyone who sells their thief ability to another person. For more on this please click here.
Accessories
Accessories are ultra-rare items, and can only be won at auctions made by either Kimbrrli or Funender. These protect against various status effects, previously mentioned, such as Poison or Muddle. They can also be bought from players who own an accessory, but due to their rarity, it is extremely difficult to find someone willing to sell their item.

Usergroups
A Usergroup is a group of players who have gathered with a similar idea/aim. They are given their own sub-forum in the Usergroups section, the contents of which can only be viewed by that group's members.
Viewing usergroups
To view a usergroup, click the Usergroups at the top of the page. This page has drop-down menus which list all the usergroups in existence. You will also be able to view the usergroups which you are a member of, and any pending usergroup applications that you have made. To view the usergroup information, select the usergroup of interest, then click "View information". A page will then show up with a brief decription of the usergroup, its members, and whether it is closed or open. Closed usergroups do not accept new members or their applications.
Applying to usergroups
On the usergroup's page, click "Join Group" in the Group membership area. This can only be done for a usergroup that you are not a member of, and which is open. Your application will then be processed by the usergroup leader, and they will then either accept or reject your application.
Leaving a usergroup
You can leave a usergroup by viewing the usergroup information, then in the group membership area, click "Unsubscribe"
Creating a usergroup
To create a new usergroup, you will need to raise 8 million gil, and have a minimum of 5 starting members. Once you have raised enough gil, and have found 5 members, you have to donate the money to FuNEnD3R, including a message with the donation to tell FuNEnD3R the name of the usergroup that you want to set up, as well as naming your 5 starting members. Please note that the Usergroup name, once set, cannot be changed. If you get the go-ahead, the new sub-forum for your usergroup will be created.
The Leader of the Usergroup is allowed to change the usergroup status from open to closed, and vice versa. They can also add, remove and accept usergroup applicants.
