They dont charge you for characters...there is a monthly fee of 9 pounds...after the free trial expires. Your first content ID (character) is included in that price but any content ID after that is an additional pound or so each month.

for your first content id (character) it costs 9 pounds a month
for each additional content id it costs and extra 1 pound per month
so 9 pounds to play with one character per month, and another pound per additional character
can i ask why you didnt just go with ff14 the newer mmo?
computer not good enough
or the price was too high?
or you just wanted to play 11?

I don't plan on keeping my account after my free trial is over. I want to see if I like playing online, if I do I'd be more likely to buy 14. I understand it's better for playing on your own.

A lot of people are dropping from XIV. I hear it is really specialized in that the class you pick is the one you are. Choose blacksmith, you're a blacksmith you aren't good in battles but you can make stuff no one else can...
That is what I hear anyway.

as far as i know
from being told by a friend after they just started
you CAN change class
, but in 14 you change your weapon to change your class not go to the moogle house
your charachter has his own level and each of the classes has thier own level
just went to the ff14 site and got this link
