Seriously, whoever made them has TALENT.
That last battle was a parody on FFIV as well, I think...the part where the guy is invincible and you need some stupid tool to defeat him.

Well, it just shows that Imps ARE invincible...and awesome.
By the way, those aren't imps. They're legendary beasts of Japanese lore called Kappa which live in the water. They're made fun of lots, like most all Japanese lore creatures.
But there's no such thing in American culture, so I guess they just called them "imps". 
EDIT: Oh yeah, Gestahl failed too! XD
