Bought this yesterday, a little disappointed to find that the FF12 chars only appear as help icons. I've already completed the story sections for Firion, Cecil, Cloud, Zidane and Tidus and just started doing Squall's.
I was a little baffled at first when I started the game about why it was asking what kind of gamer I was (hardcore of course  ) and what day I played the most (It does affect the game on what you pick).
To completely max out the game is going to take months it looks like.

well, not just help icons
And yeah, i bought it on release, but the play style hasn't really suited me, so i have only put about ten hours into it.

I've unlocked him. Been a while since I last played Dissidia, completed the initial story with everyone and completed the extra parts with Terra (she's level 100 for me now- odd that Terra wasn't one of my favourite main chars).
