I like the idea of online. I was thinking of buying FFXI but heard that there was no pvp.
Edit: I'm pretty sure I've been to their website before since I remember reading about all of the races. Doesn't look like much diversity though, I mean they're all wearing the same clothes for starters lol

OMG Stupid online ones... I mean, it'd be nice as an "addition" to be able to do but I think you should be able to play offline too... (think diablo.... sorta... if that makes sense...)

I've never played an mmorpg.
So yeah... I've never played XI either...
But after I saw the previews for it last year at E3, I figured I'd make 14 my first XD
Plus, it'll be easier with the ps3's wifi lol

That's why i don't own many Final Fantasy games. Too many required internet on the PS2. And I own Diablo II with the Lord of Destruction expansion. Never got to play it online before someone left the discs out and the dog got to them.

They actually announced XIV quite a while before XIII was released. I'd say it was about half a year before, but I can't say that as a certainty. It was definitely more than 2 months before XIII was released, though.
