FFI-FFIX

if you think about it I was sort of a prequel to IX, tell me what you think.

Final Fantasy IX was a remake of 1 - 8, including Tactics.

Final Fantasy XII is a remake of them all, including Tactics Advanced. I know, cause I've played almost every Final Fantasy deeply, and found the connections. Also read it somewhere. With XII, you can just tell.

Sorry dude... But that was retarded. Every Final Fantasy is separate and unrelated except for the FF's set in Ivalice (which the fact they take place in the same world is really the only thing that connects them) and X & X - 2.
Don't act as if you know what your talking about if your going to post something that goes against common knowledge.
Also, IX and XII are in no way remakes of ANY Final Fantasy.

i know they're not related but it seems like a bit of a coincidence, one of the trade marks of final fantasy that I used to love, was that there were no sequals then x-2 came along and to be perfectly honest "IT WAS *"

Blade Master: They actually were. The concepts and characters were based off of past ones. At least a lot of them were. And there were many storyline tie ins. Sorry if you can't notice, but that's your fault dude.

Believe what you want, cause if I cared in what you believed in, then they'd be my own, and we wouldn't be having this argument. I didn't say in any manner that I knew everything, so don't you assume you know everything about me by one post.

Ohh, and it's dudess.

I guess it could be considered both. They were so many character and story tie ins to all the others, that is was incredibly obvious.

Even more so with XII. With XII you could automatically tell because the species as well as some of the places, plus it being in Ivalice, all came from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

I feel better now that I got that said. Like I said, I'm sorry if people just can't make the connections, but that's their problem, right Deadcloud?

Ohh, and the dudess was quote from Makai on a topic, cause I called her a dude. And she said it was dudess. Just passing it along. Wink

Thank you DeadCloud. I've played 9 so many times. It got to the point where I beat it everyday. I knew the game itself almost by heart, like the lines and all. I knew the ending by heart. I didn't have a computer at the time, and I kept wanting to hear Melodies of Life, so...

In any case, nice to see you back. ^_^

And umm...isn't 1 just the prequel to them all anyways? lol, Just a thought!

Well, they actually never thought it would make it past the first Final Fantasy. Hence the name.

Final Fantasy series has a habit of making connections to one another. So much of it is based around so many types of mythology as well.

The one where Zidane just didn't care anymore? And he just turned into a chump?

Zidane: "You're all just a bunch of baby-sitting bas*ards. But I know...I'm the biggest Bas*ard of them all..."

I loved that part! It was just so not like him, and yet so predictable to have it happen, and not!

If they remake VII, the scene with Sephie killing Aeris is gonna be awesome!
