There was a perfect emulator that I used to play my retail FFVII game that I bought, but it only works with Wins 98  I am sure there are others out there but I neer bothered searching.

They actually sold FF7 on PC. You shouldnt have to use an emulator, but if you do, there are several out there. I dont know the names off the top of my head, but you can check google for them.

i got my ps1 version runnning with a emulator but it stutters all the time.

Try setting the frame rate to auto. Or try a new Emulator. Somtimes the emulator is just plain crappy.

download an emulator then put the ps1 disk in click run disk on the emulator and it runs
