FF XIII- Fight for crystal

It would be interesting to know that the events of ff XIII takes place at a time similar to the present conditions. The story focusses on the emotional aspects of the instances that takes place across the kingdom. Well, the fight starts over the
issues on the possession of the crystal , thought to be the last one present on earth.

Heard the same from the previews of the Game.
Would be interesting to see the impact of emotional aspects on the game.
There should be something that needs to form the motive of the characters in the game.
In FF XIII we may see it as Crystals.
