It's all a matter of opinion, I respect yours about as much as you respect mine...which at the moment doesn't seem like a lot at all. I thought the story of FFVIII was better, the graphics were certainly better, the characters were more intresting, the weapons were better, and the towns more intresting (no one can convince me that Midgar is cooler than Galbadia). The only part I didn't like was the junctioning system because if your magic use is high, then your characters stats are going to be quite volatile. I don't think FFVII is better, and I don't care if you don't care what I think, deal with it.
I actually liked the Junctioning system... It enabled you to boost your characters' stats to incredible levels fairly early in the game, if you drew the right spells from enemies.
That may just be because you are the head of the Funender Garden, and I played 2 professor characters, so you seem like my boss now permanently in my mind. XD

I like ff VII all the way around.
1.Was the 1st final fantasy i played.
2.The history line is amazing, cuz it involves u in the game, i mean lol i cryed when aeris died...it gave some realistic point of view for a fantasy game.
3.The game system: using materia and all i found it like one of the best systems of battle.
4.The graphics were good for one of the 1st 3d game.
5.Theres more but i forgot lol..
Negative points : the final battle was kind of disspointing(they said that sephi
was going to be 10x stronger if cloud and the pthers were on lvl 99..bs
As for ffVIII i like this game 2 but ff VII owns.
I mean..
1.Was the 3rd final fantasy i game i played lol
2.The history line is good..but wut would hav happened if rinoa dies on space?...rite uh?..thats why square didnt let her die(cuz aeris died on ff7 and the fans would hav cursed them haha...and she was needed for completing the game anyways)
3.The junction system was more like a challenge for me...cuz getting the best stats required the best magic and the combinations haha(u had to use ur head here)thats y i liked. Was hard at 1st though.
4.the graphics werent that bad..
5.the final battle was better than the lame seph
negative points: the weapon craft ...i found kind of difficult to make lionheart...i forgot the name of the ore but was hard to get it. lol was hard to get one for squall..then for rinoa hahaah ...i think the others only got the
4th weapon lol.
They r both final fantasy games that i like but ff7 speaks for itself lol
