FF tactics QUESTION

I need a little bit of help getting da Hidden items at Nelvaska Temple,ya know da ones at the Left and Right Podium.

I tried maximizing my character's Jump stats but yet I can't reach da podiums, even wif Ninja/Lancer class characters.

How do I get da items? (coz the last skill setup I hafta put Move-Find) can't really put those Jump+3/etc.

bring a monster (worker 8 will do), place it next to the pillar, then had your character with move find ability jump on that monster to get to the top of the pillar.

no excalibur IS NOT the best sword in the game it is third to the best. the best sword in the game is the chaos blade which can be aquired by poaching a tiamat if i remember correctly or simply by finding it in deep dungeon with a character who ha move find and bravery at ten. your best bet is to permanently lower a characters bravery so it becomes easier to aquire such items. damnit im gonna buy a new copy of it tonite cuz u make me wanna play it so badly

Oh or you could also use the robot dude to give you alittle boost, but the Chocobo works the best.

/agree Very Happy

The game and its zodiac battles are only hard when you don't overlevel your team or get dual-wielding, blade-grasping, height-ignoring Knights before Ramza even figures out how to spell Wiegraf's name..... (now who would do a thing like that? Wink )

I personally thought the battle with Wiegraf and Velius (with the Archaic Demons) was pretty hard, even with a decked-out Ramza and Auto-Potion. Cyclops and Dark Holy just decimated my party, and it would almost always come down to the last hit. Oh, and Stop Bracelet and Allure, when you run into them, are just downright unfair. Razz

Otherwise, the game's a cakewalk after you recruit Orlandu and his Excalibur-enchanced Master Swordskills. (Give him a Chaos Blade and Excalibur in both hands and that's another story). Even without over-leveling, Orlandu is your ticket to the easy life. Still, I wouldn't take him out - he's way too cool and kick-ass to say no to. Very Happy Oh, and the "kill-this-person-to-win" conditions made it too easy to get out of a potentially difficult battle.
