How does the end of FF7 make you cry? 
I guess I agree that thw whole "wait" system in battle made things too easy, but that's about it.

I don't think it was very fun - just a lot of cursing and stupid poses involved. But okay, it was a rant and rants are like that usually.

Was this not toggle-able in most of the series? FFX is the only one I can think of where turning off the wait system was not an option...

Err, hmm... How to put this... Well first off, you shouldn't be generalizing 360 fans like that. While I do think that the 360 sucks, and there's no way I could bring myself to being a 360 fan, considering all of the sh*t the console has put me through (and it's not even mine).
Also, FPSs do not suck.
And as to the video... I saw a man who has never played the game being payed to do his job.
Not very entertaining, educational, or even worth my time.

Was it not in 8? because i know that the battles, by default, were active while you selected commands. I always just kept it that way, was there not an option to enable wait mode?
It's been forever since I've played some of the older(pre-ps2) FFs so I'm a bit rusty on these kind of things.. 
Edit: Also, imo wait mode made the games harder

FPS's suck for me... I find no point in them other than another way for microsoft to steal your money.
I mean look at that new halo game that came out.
My brother bought it for 60 bucks like any other new game.... and finished it in like a day...
And I saw absolutely no difference in gameplay... like I said... moneygrubbers...
However I did like FPS's back in the 64 days...
but now they're way too overrated.
Plus, I can't tell you how many friends and relative's lives were ruined cuz of stupid FPS's AND the damned 360...

Pure FPS's are bad, but if you have optionals like Oblivion and Fallout 3, then it's good. ^^

Basing your opinion on FPSs around Halo and the Xbox is wrong. Halo is not the only FPS in existence, and IMHO as FPSs go Halo was not a superb one, only an overhyped one. I'll agree on the dislike towards Halo, but I have played dozens of FPSs that are nothing like Halo, and most of them are very enjoyable. Have you ever played the original Red Faction? That was a good FPS imo. Lacking in multiplayer, yes, but the story mode was simply amazing. Borderlands? Yes it has RPG elements in it, enough of them to call the game an RPG, but it is still an FPS. How about Shadowrun?
Yes, Halo was overrated and was relatively mediocre.
No, Halo does not stand for the entire genre.
Yes, Microsoft likes to pull off little stunts to trick people into giving them money.

I never said it was the only one.
Halo's just the one I happened to mention.
And I don't mind shooting games that are rpgs.
I just don't happen to like games that don't require any kind of thinking. Halo being an example.
FPS's LIKE (emphasis on LIKE) halo are the reason kids are growing dumber by the minute, at least in MY (again... emphasis on MY) personal experience.
Kids should play more rpgs XD
At least it forces them to read...
I started reading regular sized books by the age of 4. But only because that's when I was introduced to RPGs...
I know my life would've severely dumbed down if I played nothing but FPS's... And my brother's the perfect example of that...
Again... nothing but personal experience...
