If I were you, I wouldn't bother watching Spirits Within. It has no relation at all with any of the FF games' stories except that it has a guy named Cid(correct me if I'm wrong). And it wasn't that good of a movie either.

But if you really want to watch it then you can dl it almost anywhere in the internet. (P2P or Torrents) You could also try E-Bay.

Well, dunno if you're interested in animes (though your question was about movies) but they do have FF7 Last Order, FF Legend of the Crystals and FF Unlimited.

If you're planning on using money to get Spirits Within, I should advice you not to do it.

Animes huh? Sooo, which anime would you compare them to? And if you can't compare them to any, just rate 'em from 1-10. Very Happy

Disagreed. Spirits Within was a great film, despite the fact that they added Final Fantasy to the title when it had nothing to do with Final Fantasy other than being created by the same company.

well you can say that too.

you're the second person i've known who like the movie. the first being my uncle.

i just hated it. everything was wrong, story to action(it never had any real action). the graphics were good though

I don't know why, but the ending seemd unfuffilling. Maybe it's because it doesn't follow the basic 'rules' of ff that people seem to shun it.

Since when has shooting guns at alien spirits not been action? It was better than Advent Children because it was completely original. Advent Children just continued something they had already started.

Well, IMO (Although I didn't like it too much) Advent Children is better than Spirits Within. Firstly, they have the title right. Since when do you put Final Fantasy in a name of a movie and only include a person named Cid in it?
Secondly, the story just didn't click for me. Sure there's a whole lot of eye candy in that movie (killing aliens, big guns, etc.) but not really that much on the story.
