As the story of his father's own ignorance and pride had led to his downfall was relayed to him, Seether crouched with bent back and lowered head. Rain washed down his soft, blonde locks to sting his eyes. The youth tried to focus on the words, taking in everything his uncle was telling him.
Shaking, hands bound behind him with a magical rope he couldn't break through, Seether stared up at the forboding figure, as suddenly a crash followed by a flash of lightning illumined the proud man through the caved in cathedral top. Stained glass cast strange glows around the stone walls, and the altar and large cross standing behind Seether's torturer.
It's gone, Seether thought dejectedly, realizing at last what the death of his father meant. His kingdom, Dascades, had fallen.
"Cresoles," Seether sputtered, choking slightly on the rain that filtered through his mouth.
He doubted his uncle would spare him, but Seether was still blood. Even if that didn't stop Cresoles from killing his own brother, the prince thought maybe it would be different.
Everything had been thrown into chaos. Thanks to King Burok's forcefulness, the requested troops hadn't come, and wouldn't have made it in time anyhow. More lives would have just been lost.
The realms themselves lay in torment and chaos, as struggles for power, control and survival rose up. The ongoing fights with rebels of Radical Realm and Advent Realm was causing lack of supplies for others. Many lived in poverty, but Burok had refused to let that happen to Dacades.
The raindrops were smashing against her warm face as she ran through the wilderness. The leaves and brenches around her were bending against her naked skin as she brutall tortured them by running right through them. Her body was covered with mild cuts of thorns from her previous path. She had just escaped the soldiers from the thorn field of Yotakan border. Fresh blood was still mixing with raindrops and hot sweat from her body as she ran.
Suddenly, she noticed the edge of the cliff and in shock she threw herself on the ground and went sliding toward the edge, ending up in a hanging position from the edge.
She exhaled through he full, wet lips and looked down at the darkness that looked like a bestial form wanting to devour her body.
"Shimatta..." She whispered and heard the footsteps of the soldiers approaching. She climbed up the cliff, getting in touch with the dirt around her. Now she looked like an average warrior and not like a beautiful woman, which she actually was (despite her temper and bloodlust).
She lifted her head and removed the hair from her face that had, by now, knitted a net all across her cheeks. When she was finally able to see again, she relized that the soldiers had their rifles set upon her.
"Oh...Sh*t..." She whispered to herself, and remembered the words of her late Captain: The earth is one with the earth. Always will be.
"AIM!" The leader of the squad shouted.
She smiled and closed her eyes, in her mind melting with the ground.
"SHOOT!"
As the bullets flew toward her body, suddenly the soldiers saw it shatter into sand and melt with the ground.
"WHAT A HELL?!" The leader shouted and placed himself where Lucrecia was standing. she wasn't there.
"SPREAD! FIND THAT DAMN >>SANSAI<< (literally translated it means earth & man, but in this case it is reffered to monks that practice arts of illusions)!
She was on the run again, with soldiers on her back once more. The illusion of SHATTERS, which she just used was often used by the monks from the western Yotaka, where she had stayed a long time ago.
Beidis typed away at the keyboard of the laptop. "We have entered the enemies base. There troops were superior to ours in number. Our men showed great bravery against our foes, there were many casualties, most were just minor wounds but others were more fatal. The wounded are being treated at the moment, the battle was long and harsh though we won by an inch. Additional: these weapons you gave us are extremely useful."

Hark...ejaculated.
A silent smile, of pure evil crossed Cresoles' lips. He even exposed his old, yellow teeth in this insane smile, a smile of victory. He looked down at a crouching figure before him. He pushed a bit of black hair awya form his face as he silently said:
"So... nephew..." Cresoles lingered at every word he spoke, enjoying his victory once more.
"What do you say to all this?" Cresoles slashed out his arms, spinned around and looked at the face of his nephew. "Seether... What do you have to say?"
Cresoles smiled once more, eyes glowing and his mouth twisted in an in-human way. He was so enjoying this. He tightned the grip around the handle of his mace, who was resting against the floor at the moment.
That may just be because you are the head of the Funender Garden, and I played 2 professor characters, so you seem like my boss now permanently in my mind. XD

Staring up at him with steady eyes, but a hazy look, Seether muttered, "I say you're senile."
Jaw working, Seether managed to spit up at his uncle, his arms trembling in their restraints as the rope cut into his skin. He could feel his blood seep through his shirt, feeling its steady flow as it mixed with sweat and rain.
Guy woke up suddenly. The same nightmare that kept haunting him all over the week had taken place, and it wasn´t precisely enjoyful.
It was pouring outside. "Maybe I´ll get to do some indoors work right now, the day helps so", he thought to himself.
Guy got up, and started dressing. It was time to keep working, he had a really large list of projects to do...
Cresoles tried to avoid his nephew spitting on him. But he failed. And he had been humiliated by his act. His smiled faded away quicker than anything. He resisted to bash his nephew's head out with his mace, though, his grib at it's handle became convulsive. He replied hatefull at his nephew.
"Sad your mother's not around so she could join him..."
Cresoles got silent. He listened to the sound of the rain, pouring down on them. He opened his hand, a small flame appear. Even when exposed to the rain, it lived on.
"Look at this little flame, Seether..." He said calmly. "This is I... the raindrops are your father and your grandfarthers words... ALL of them keeping me down... but I lived on..."
Cresoles shut his fist tightly, the flames stciking out between his fingers, then dying out.
"Enough storytelling..." Cresole said and smiled wicked at his nephew once more.

A slight satisfaction washing over him, Seether's shoulders slumped heavily. He was tired, weary, and sore. There was little to no fight left in him at this point. His eyes raised to the cross illumined behind his uncle, and secretly cursed the gods for this.
Blinking back at Cresoles, Seether told his uncle, "You are nothing more than a cliffside. Rough and hard, but once shaken you shall tumble and fall." Narrowing his cold eyes at him, he hissed, "And I'll be sure to shake you hard."
"Then I'll be sure to keep my ground," Cresoles replied with yet another smile that seemed to be of another world; his teeth exposed to a degree, he looked like a vampire, ready for the finaly blow to his victims neck... his eyes starred at the same point for several minuttes, and his chin stood out in a way it loked oversized beyond normallity.
Cresoles made the mace fly throught the air, hitting Seether's face with the creepy sound of steel hitting beaten-up flesh. Blood sprung as a result of the attack, and Cresoles grabbed the head of the mace with his free hand as it came within it's reach.

As sudden pain and numbness rushed him, Seether fell face first to the floor, wincing at the broken glass that scathed his taut skin. Willing his eyelids to lift away the flowing blood, a flare of sudden anger coursed through his veins.
Arms pulling at the ropes, Seether swung back as they tore from one another. He mentally wrapped the loose strands hanging from his wrists around fallen roofbeams, and throwing his arms forward, struck his uncle squarelin his either shoulder.
As Cresoles was sent flying back against the cross, pushed up at where the lines met, Seether felt the flare disperse, and watched as the beams and his uncle tumbled to the floor.
Breathing raggedly now, Seether stared at Cresoles with rage and bloodlust, his eyes showing a deeper malice then he usually allowed.
Heirlen ran through the hills as fast as he could. Several bullets came flying by him barely missing. "Come back here thief!" About 5 guards were chasing after him as he had stolen again. "Can't catch me can ya?" He came close to a town into which he ran through to find a hiding spot. Once he was safe he took out the bag he had stolen containing gold and bread. "This will do for today."
Cresoles got on his feet veyr slowly.. almost too slowly for his own taste. He whipped his mouth with the back of his gloved hand, and reached with the other for his neck, "putting it back in place".
"Well, well..." He said sarcastically. "The youngster got angry... poor boy which such a rough life..."
Cresoles reached out for his mace on the floor. As his right hand got it, he looked up again.
"We are vey much alike, the tow of us, Seether..." He said and spitt on the floor before him. "Sadly you have no goals for life..."

Staring up at his uncle, Seether told him coldly, "And so I have no ties." Swallowing hard, he told Cresoles flatly, "But I have a new purpose. You and I may be similar," he stated forcefully, willing his trembling legs to support his body as he lifted in a hunched position.
Stumbling, Seether coughed up some blood, raising a torn wrist to his mouth, as he added coldly, "But I am still my own man."
"I should really start now... It´s so much work now...", Guy sighed. Work had been quite heavy those last days, and he couldn´t find the time to rest. When he did find it, he woke up in the middle of his sleep...
"Let´s see... First of all, King Tarcesis´ request... This is gonna take some time." He thought to himself, "I could get some men to help me with the King´s request... Maybe something big is going to happen now. Not every day you get to design an airship..."
