K well I was on the smashing pumpkins website listening to their newest release and found out that they are looking for a bassist and a keyboard player.
I play bass, well... I can play bass and I do from time to time so I checked it out.
Turns out I need video footage of playing and well I got none and They want someone with experience.
I feel like sh*t now

If you really want to be in a band like that, then just keep practicing; eventually you'll get another chance and you'll be so good that the last think they'll think about is "experience"! ^^

i dont want to seem patrinising or unsupportive
but i seriously doubt
they would even consider a 15 year old without much experience ( i dont know what you have done or even if you have played in ANY shows or gigs)
i know that probably sounded mean but it wasnt supposed to XD

Arcade, Know I can never take what you say and be offended...
I know they wouldn't and well when I'm half asleep, I do not think of things like that XD
I did not do any shows or gigs, but If I have to I will umm.... Idk I will play in a show or gig soon... I hope....
Anyways sorry for this random topic, but the main I wanted to say is that the smashing pumpkins are looking for a new bassist because Ginger wants to take care of her baby, and they want a new keyboard player... well I should just say Corgan wants.... Because he is like.... General.... and the rest are soldiers XD ( no offense to Corgan or generals or soldiers)

Bane of playing music when your young...
I tried to join a locally reknown industrial band Suicide Puppets when i was 16. I was good enough to get in but theres more to it then that. since I'm a minor i can't play bars, theres a bunch of legal * involved with getting signed. It will get alot easier to join a band when your older.
my best advice is work on song writing and get your chops up til 17 or 18. Thats when most people will start taking you seriously.

I finished maybe around umm... 5  well no... let's see...so far I counted 8 XD but my friend is getting used to my strictness thingy, and well, we are working on stuff more now...Like a grungy version of shackled & Chained, A spanish version of it and we are writting a bunch of songs together now like clusterf**k and Precipice.
