oh.. well attck, def and str and hp contribute mostly to combat lvls. prayer does a little contributing, and so does magic and archery. but you have to go to a runescape website to find out. a good one is www.runetips.com DONT GO HERE WRONG SITE! the correct one is posted in the clan forums.
yea, to check your overall lv, click on the Stat window, dont put your cursor on any Attributes and look at the bottm, you should see your overall lv and Combat lv.
one mistake i made, your overall lv is all the other attributes lv add up, combat is to do with combat etc. what razzy said
i think my combat lvl is 10. im pretty happy with that... although i die in the stupidest ways. and i cant find a pick ax anywhere ever. dying is such a pain in my booty.

theres a place to get one for free, its in Barbarian village, in one of the houses, on a table, or theres this place to buy it. Its in the dwarf mines, rune picks cost 32k, adamanite (addy) cost 3200 gp, and the rest are cheaper.
