Well darn I just paid $19.95 to try this game and I can't even connect to the server  I hope that the server is just offline because I have enabled my firewall to allow the game to connect online and that is the only problem could prevent me from playing this game.

Haha ok it looks like I purchased it during their scheduled maintenance, what are the odds of that  At least the server will be back up soon, but I wish I knew this before I was running tests on my firewall and pinging their servers

Man, this game looks so beautiful, but is it the genre itself or is this game extremely boring? I love everything about it except the lack of action. All I did was point and click to areas I wanted to fly too, and the only real interaction was to sell minerals and process and such. I can only assume this game isn't my genre, since there is more action in a chatroom then this game, since that is what it feels like a chatroom with an animated background. However to those who love the game that is cool since I can see it's appeal, but I am too busy and do not have any patience to deal with such a slow paced game

Yeah if this game allowed full control of your ship instead of point and click, and a lot more enemies attacking you and having to dodge and use stradegy to accomplish a mission, then this game would own all. I just guess this game is not my genre, this is more for the relaxed explorers who want to just roam around and find things. Nothing wrong with that but this game would be extremely awesome since it has great graphics, music, effects, but no action  I probably would have loved this game when I was younger and didn't have a single worry in the world heh. Great game though but not for me. The mining and pirates were cool but still it felt like I was just watching the game instead of playing it.

this is why the corp im with is moving into deepspace and we shall be doing alot of fighting, and yea, they have a downtime everyday at 12-1, on eve time thats 11-12 cos they dont day light saving lol
