nah dont give him false hope.....there are things that is really impossible to beat( ofcourse FFX is not one of those) ...like for example in the guiness book of record they show this guy a gallery of things only once and then he remembered every single name and order of it....i think it's around 40 -50 items...and again only shown to him once ....

if the ending makes u sad then FFX-2 shud make u happy again plus there is a new feature with X-2 that lets you play again and keep your stuff. also be aware that there is more than one ending depending on your actions in the game.

there's only two ending and there's nothing hard on getting both of them...well if you really dont like the game if might be painful just opening the playstation and seeing continue lolz...
