Easiest way to win the Blitzball Tournament!
All you have to do is save your game at the semi final or if your really good save the tournament in the final match then play, if you lose turn your PS2 on and off load your game and you can play from the finals again!

You will have a team that sucks, you can't scout before the end of that tournament. Saving beforehand is a given (save at every opportunity unless you need low HP or something for some reason). All I can really say for advice is play ultra defensive in the first half, pass to Tidus who passes back to a defender and the defenders pass it between themselves for 5 mins. In the second half, use jecht shot and later on venom shot to hopefully win 2-0.

I've been using this technique and strategy since the middle level of blitzball game, simply get players with high Pass and get them to learn Nap Pass (even better with Nap Pass 2 or 3). Get your best shooter with high endurance (mine was Tidus) to learn Nap Shot 2 or 3. Then its all set. I use the "make everyone enjoy the slumber" strategy.
First I get my Midfielder to screw up opponents' LF and RF by using Nap Passes, chance they'll fall asleep is high since most LF and RF as lower Block (BL) than your MD's Pass (PA). Then its time for the goalie to sleep too, I taught Tidus Tackle Slip 2 and make him encounter with 2 or 3 defenders. After that, break into one defender and use Nap Shot 3. Make sure the total SH comes to this:
Tidus primary SH - Defenders BL < Goalie's CA
Meaning after minusing with defenders' BL, you'll get a SH value lower than the goalie's CA. So with Nap Shot 3, the goalie will 100% fall asleep. Once you do that, you can play around easily. Having defenders learn Nap Tackle 3 also helps a lot. Just in case there're some "survived" opponent players which haven't fall asleep, you can toy with them with. Simply make them concentrate on a single Forward (preferably Tidus with Tackle Slip), then break onto 1 of them and send a pass to the other forward. Despite the other forward's SH value, you'll always score a goal! (since the goalie's having a nice dream  )
Well, thats my strategy and I can score goals a lot with this strategy.
