not joking, i was glad cause it gives a decent MMO that i can play with my poor as hell friends.
to warn people though: the free account has limitations, you have like half as many quests as those who pay for the game, and can only have 2 characters at a time. they hope to make money on this by allowing you to either pay a monthly fee for access to everything, or buy each bit of content you want individually. some classes and races also need to be bought before they can be played. (warforged and drow, monk and favored soul all need to be bought to play as them)
its entirely possible and not really too difficult to complete the entire game without paying for anything.
OH and trooper, log into your account you had, existing gamers who go back get like 2 extra character slots and keep the characters they had.

i've noticed you playing this game on xfire lately...
i remembered it being p2p...
this does seem like an improvement though, because i always got bothered by monthly fees...
i hated it XD
i don't want to spend money on a game if i'm not sure about the ammount of time i can actually play it, seems like a loss of money for me.
