Generally, US games can't be played on UK consoles unless you have something like a mod chip put in the console.

does anyone know if there is a difference between UK and EU consules? 
anyway, i rarely get videos or dvd's, i suppose it's because most of the time when you have a video, you watch it once or twice and forget about it for ages...

I think there is no difference between UK and European consoles, they are both PAL. Except I think France uses some other colour setting for their tv's called 'Secam' or something.

DVD, though the only stuff i watch anymore on them is south park, invader zim, samuri x, zoids, and the occasional gundam.

We only get 5,7,12, and on occasion Fox 22. Crazy huh? So, I guess DVD is our best bet.
