Do you think this game will have the X-2 combat system?
I hope so, it was very popular with all FF fans so it would be great if this game has the same fast combat system as X-2

It was popular?
I'm pretty sure it wont though. Going by the movies on ign etc, its almost a real-time battle (no smashing screen and entering battle mode with your guys on one side, enemies on the other). I've read that you preset orders for the characters, and then they attack once you lock an enemy on or something.

Is it going to be like Kotor? Anyways I like the X-2 battle system but I do believe FFXII is going to be real-time.

what the heck.....it's a whole new battle system in FF......it's like kingdom hearts.....thanks stapler...that's a good video....but look carefully you can actually see some people walking on the screen....

ok.
from the start (start being before X-2 came out) i knew i wasnt going to really enjoy the game. i figured if anything the fast paced combat would save it for me. once i got a hold of the game, it was a big let down. the "fast paced" action during battle was far from what i was looking for. I didnt see much of a difference to be honest.
i know it wont be done, but i pray for a battle system much like the grandia games. if you what what im talking about, im sure youll agree.

Dunno what grandia games are like but I prefer the slower battle system, or anything but hack 'n slash type games.
