Dissidia: Final Fantasy is part of the Final Fantasy series 20th anniversary campaign. In Dissidia, there are two gods - Cosmos, the Goddess of Harmony, and Chaos, the God of Destruction. For eons, the two gods raged war against one another, until the balance of power tipped in favor of Chaos. As the forces of evil grow stronger and the war seems to near its end, the few surviving heroes have banded together to strike back at Chaos' minions and restore harmony.
Each of the ten heroes has a storyline, named as a "Destiny Odyssey," following their journey to recover their respective Crystal. Each Destiny Odyssey also parallels, to a certain extent, the events, or at least the spirit, of the storyline in the hero's original game - Terra's story for example, deals with her amnesia and her waning control over her powers, while Cloud's story concerns his indecisiveness and questioning his reason for fighting. The stories also overlap a great deal, with several heroes playing major roles in other heroes' Destiny Odysseys - for example, Cloud assists Terra in her storyline. As for characters, there are a total of 22 characters 2 of which are secret and unlockable after completeing either either Cosmos or Chaos storyline.
As for gameplay there are two ways to defeating and opponent, 1)Reduce their moral(Bravery) to zero or 2)Kicking ass and reduce their HP to zero which ever you perfer, all characters uses the circle button to do unique attacks to reduce bravery and the square button is used to do damage to the opponents actual hit points. The majority of all spell caster type characters like Terra, Kefka, and Ultimecia specialize in bravery depletion and characters like Cloud, Onion Knight, and Jecht specialize more in damage dealing to actually kill the opponent, but all of these battle strategies may be changed by changing the skills and equipment your characters are using. The "R" button is used for blocking, and pushing "X" is jumping but pushing both together allows you to evade or parry if timed properly with the opponents attacks. This game is very detailed with the storyline and actually has a few easter eggs here and there for every character aswell as giving some leaked secret information on characters if paid attention to closely. Keep your eyes and ears open and hopefully you'll uncover new things like who Cloud actually loves more Aerith or Tifa i'm actually lying about this but you never no it still could be in the game lol. Hope you enjoy this game to its fullest and dig deeper into the worlds of final fantasy.....

they tease with it aswell they like put demo cases out and every time i pick them up I JUST WANNA BUY IT

And i don't like the way that they've made Jecht the FFX villain, I recon the more logical choice would have been Seymour, he was the only real evil Villain in the game..

Now i was livid, now i was mad,
This was turning into the worst day that i'd ever had
I squared my shoulders, and took a deep breath,
If they don't have this game then i'll bring them their death.
I marched to the counter, every muscle tense,
and stood in line, and by god this line was dense
Finally i made it up to the front,
And said "Where the f*cks Dissidia, you lying f*cking C*nt!"
"Oh, sorry dude, It's out the back,
I haven't had time to put it out on the rack"
"Well scuttle your fat little bottom out there and get it,
And if you keep me waiting you'll likely regret it"
So now my good people i hold in my hand,
Something with substance, something quite grand
I shall now play it and let you all know
If it's great, if it's awesome, or if it does blow

Lol great poem there DP made me laugh. All I have to say is it is a pretty decent game I would give it a 7.5 Rating. So I'm sure you'll have fun. Tho the thing that ticked me off the most tho was the battle system it is much harder than most Final Fantasies, Because it's action based. But once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy. I got the game on the 25th of course.

(Because most people know I'm hardcore FF fan so I got up early before work and got it )
and have already beaten it. But still playing it and it's very addictive when I have free time after work. Also another feature of this game I really love is the battle replay/recording system.

You unlock it after you complete 2 Destiny Odyssey Stories
It allows you to save replays of your battles and then you can convert them to an AVI on your memory stick. Useful for uploading to Youtube if you use it or just for watching. So overall pretty decent game. So let us know what you think
