I did. I have this sort of habit in all RPG's I played of overpowering my characters, doing sidequests, go to every town and talk to the people before the final dungeon. I always wait a long time before finishing the game. It's like I lose all my energy to play when I reach the final dungeon.

have sorta have the same umm "problem" as you with the last dungeons cept usually i like to train to a higher level go there kill every one beat the story line then go and do the bonus stuff but cant beat it so i just give up as if after the story i dont feel the need to play anymore even tho there is still alot left, usually i over power my charecters, but this is the second time i play this game so i was wondering where i got alot of exp last time and i couldnt remember so i just end up quitting right b4 enuo.

I first made it the long way, getting the twelve weapons and stuff. FFV might have been the exception, but most games' last dungeon tend to be quite... Easy if you do sidequests.

And so I tried once doing it with only the first three weapons, but honestly didn't go too well.

I like more the challenge in a fight that, having too overpowered characters, would be just too easy.

A perfect sphere colliding with our fates, this story ends where it began.
