Did Rogue Galaxy rip this song from Final Fantasy?

Im in Zerard, chapter 3 i think. inside the shops, everytime i enter, they start playing this song from FF, I think its from FF8 when you were in one of the chocobo forests. But i swear its almost not changed, in fact i think it WASNT changed, just ripped.

does anyone else recognises the song?



PS: please funender -.- if you read this, could you please disable the script that makes repeated signs dissapear -.- its anoying me to no end =) lol
