Designing a game?
Was playing around with the idea of making a bunch of really small, random games.
seeing as how many people like games here. i was wondering if anyone has any ideas for a few small games that i could work on over winter break that would help me exercise my knowledge of C#.
anyone up for it? anyone got any small game ideas that they wanna see made into a demo?

errr, something simple. and probably would only be on the PC, i could get it on the 360 of course, but that would just cost money.

How about a remake of the game Snake, on the older cellphones? I understand next to nothing about C#, but it should be relatively easier than an Old School RPG.
Alternatively, you can always work with RPG Maker.
I would gladly volunteer to help if I just knew anything of use to you, but we can always be the test-gamers for the final product, hehe.

no, RPG maker when i played around with it has little to offer in knowledge that will help me design a verstile game.
but yah, a snake clone is a good idea. shouldnt be too hard to make. and provides a great starting point.

ahh! whats the fun in simple? just think, you'd have a hit on your hands! especially considering how many crap games there are for cellphones these days.
but yeah, i get your point

I see. I tried RPG Maker once. Needless to say, I did not get it.
As for a Snake clone, there are tons of simple games you can try. Be it Snake, Tetris, Pong, Space Invaders, you name it.

C#? I'd die. I had a hard enough time learning C++. ;/
Good luck~! I might reply later when I've read more of the topic, and I'm less overcome with the shock that you're practicing making DEMOS with C#.
