Defeating the lost number?
Can anyone help me defeat the lost number? And if you do not know who he is, it is the boss that you verse when trying to get Vincent. So could someone tell me what lvl would help out to beat him, and also how?

Well I'm normally at level 40ish by then and have no trouble. But when I used to play it years ago I was about level 25 and had no real problems.
Heal in time of its attacks and use chocomog to paralyze it (alternatively you could use Aeris' seal evil limit skill).
Strong spells such as bolt 2 and quake 2 are effective, as is deathblow and climhazzard.

After a certain point in the battle, he'll change appearance from the half and half thing to either the purple physical monstor or a spell-casting red fured thing, I forget which way round it is but one doesn't take much damage from physical attacks and the other is highly resistant to magics

If you defeat it quick enough while its paralysed it doesn't really matter but the red side is the physical attack side and the purple casts spells.
