well i'm not afraid of dying either because there's nothing in this world for me to actually live for... at my age, there's only school, school, school
it takes more than half of my freetime, i hate this!
maybe you want to die because you live a routine over and over again and you're sick of it, or i dunno, there are plenty of reasons.. my best advice is to live, because you never know if something special, good, will happen to you

That's the thing though no matter what you achieve in life eventually you'll be forgotten...In this great hourglass that is time we are all naught but a simple grain of sand...They say the past needs to be remembered but in time it'll be gone the names and faces will be lost to obscurity and we'll repeat the process again only to have it be forgotten...its the endless cycle just like life and death we die and our names become nothing but etchings on a stone v_v geeze I'm depressing when I don't sleep okay sorry for going off topic and repeating myself.

Lol, I agree with the sounding depressing part, but I kinda have to disagree a little...
Einstien (sp?) won't ever be forgotten because of something extraordinary he did that will forever be remembered... Same as Thomas Edison, the light bulb guy. XD
If you do something so spectacular, new, and helpful to this world, then you will no doubt forever be remembered... But it has to be unique... Einstien won't ever be forgotten, however like Thomas Edison who invented the light bulb, if we find a new way to use electricity to light houses, and do away with the light bulb, then he becomes less important until the point where he was just some dude with an old invention...
No doubt it's hard to be remembered forever... People make bigger and better things than you did... Carving on tree's works until the tree's fall down... Spray painting on a building works until the building crumbles...
But why does it matter if you are remembered or not? Even if you are remembered, you will be nothing more than a memory... Einstien will always be remembered by me, however it's not like I think he's cool, or worship him, or anything... He's just a memory from history class. XD
And Memories are priceless, however when you die, the memories are stored in your brain, which is in your decaying body... So even if there is an afterlife, there's no way of knowing if you remember anything anyways. LOL

well, i like the idea of non-existence, i've messed up in life, and i don't want another chance, i don't want to be reborn as a flippin cat and then get left out in the cold by some careless evil owner, personally, death is like my ecstasy, every time i cut, every time i drink blood, every time i do anything related to death i get excited, that's why i love gory movies and the columbine shooting and things of that sort, anyhow, when i die, i want everyone to forget me, i mean, im dead, there's nothing you can do, go away, stop crying over me cuz that's not what i would want, instead, i want all of my enemies to express how much they hated me and stuff, i want everyone to spit on my grave, and just say that i was a horrible person who should never have roamed the earth...

I have never really feared death, but I am a religious person... so, I fear I can offer no advice in an atheistic perspective. Sorry.
