Mello was pretty cool. Of the Anti-Kira group, he was my favorite. But I feel that everything after L died was incredibly rushed...and that Nate Rivers was essentially a copy of L Lawliet. (Used there names cuz calling people L gets confusing when Light, L, and Near were all L.)

Heh, sorry bout that xD. If I had to choose Kira or L I'd hafta choose Kira. Kira's intentions were pure. And although it may not have been moraly correct to kill, I don't feel that people who have done immoral things should be exempt from having immoral things done to them, if that makes sense. Plus, that's the only way to create a perfect world, destroy imperfection. But what would he have done if he had succeeded? Killed himself out of boredom?

Yeah, that logic is flawed, that's why he settled for justice instead of perfection. Although I do admit that it's an unattainable goal. And when he started killing innocents to further himself, he became worthy to be one of his own victims.

I believe that people who have done things such as murder, rape, and the like should indeed die. They've proven that they don't value other's lives so why should we value theirs? Those things are unforgivable, you can't kill someone and say, "Oh I'm sorry, won't happen again." So, if I had killed someone, I'd expect to be killed. I'm not saying your view is wrong or mine is right, by the way, just making a point. One of the reasons I like this show so much is it forces you to answer that question.
