and Lawrence King was shot IN SCHOOL by a fellow student because of his sexual orientation and gender expression.
I got threatened like, 12 times yesterday alone.
the teachers are ticked off about it, but yeah.
my principal didn't want us doing it, so he said no, but we had a petition floating around and we got the go-ahead.
and today I've gotten 16-20 threats that people were going to slit my throat. and this is in only 2 1/2 hours in school so far.

iv never understood the whole silence thing, its not like it affects those who were involved (especially being that they are dead) at all, and doesnt change anything except make the time in silence awkward for everyone involved. though i think anyone who threatened you because of it deserves to be beaten to a pulp....except any teachers, they would be in the right, being as they are trying to do their job and teach, not be hindered by silliness.

ok... it effects people because it is makeing a statement. Its not supposed to make anyone do anything it just raises awareness. Its not sillyness and in fact I am severely offended that you call it such.
