Is that in the U.S. version, or is it some international version thing?

That's for both, except in X, the Dark Aeons are your Aeons! Only possesed by Yu Yevon. So they have the same power, HP and stuff as yours...now in International..damn! They are much powerful, and they are not your own, they are summoned by unknown summoners.

I think the dark aeons are easy if you know what you are doing. Friends i have have beaten them all apart from dark anima and obviously penance on a NSG/NSGNS challenges. i personally prefer getting my stats all to 255 (apart from luck) which is easy but u got to know what ur doing.

Lol, its just that i forgot to get the sun crest the first time i played the game after narrowly beating yunalesca, so i went back for it and forgot to save and was greeted with dark bahamut! Thought he was like the aeons in X-2 (8200HP) so attacked, missed 4 times, Impulse, all petrified with max damage 99999!
