Okay, before I start yet another social experement which hopefully won't make any of you too mad, I have...ALOT of things I want to get off my chest.
I know that we have rules here on funender as to how far a conversation can go, I reaspect that, but when I talk about cyber bullying I'm talking across the board in the real world, not here on funender so here goes. How pathetic are we as a global soceity on the worldwide web that we have stooped to such softness that we now are completly heart broken over what some dumbfounded random person who we've never ment in our whole lives says something that is so called offensive over the internet? and on the other side, are we so lifeless that we spend what is supposed to be an enjoyable recreatinal activity such as being on fourms online to meet and have fun with other people, to personally insult them for whatever reason (in a serious manner mind you), and say things we know we'd never say in person? Get a job!

Seriously though this is a hot topic right now and I don't know why, and for the people out there who get sooo offended at the slightest thing, or whom waste your time calling me or someone else names in a heated manner, remember your just killing your own time, remember life is short.
I for one know that it gets to alot a people me included because I was bullied in real life and when i went home, to get online i wanted to relax and enjoy myself, but when i was attacked it just felt like i was in school all over again. I'm one of those people who hate not reading stuff like msgs comments etc, no matter who they may be from, and it effects me greatly because not only did i deal with it in school that lowered my self esteem to the point where what people said online could effect me.

Both of those questions are fairly simple to answer.
People troll the internet because they're humans and a vast number of humans are idiots and take pleasure in upsetting other people, we are by nature cruel and fickle creatures.
People get upset about it because this is their recreational time and instead of having fun and interesting conversation with civilised human beings they get idiocy and juvenile insults.

I wasen't looking for an answer, I know them already, I know people are idiots which is why this is even relevent, and I believe I described the offended as "soft".

I think cyber bullying is kind of a joke...dont get me wrong I dont think its right or nice to bully someone...however I've never seen one application on the internet where you couldnt ignore or block someone...people calling you names on facebook? Block them....maybe forms would be an exception...but there should be mods for that sort of thing...and if there arent you can always just leave the form after telling whoever it was you wanted to talk to on there that you were leaving and wanted some other way to stay in contact with them.
I agree...I think there should be no cyber bullying and am certianlly not supporting it...and yeah it does suck if you cared enough about being bullied that you would have to uproot yourself form a community....but of the things I've watched on tv...people just sit there and put up with it...and I cant for the life of me figure out why.
Well you know...Why does everybody just agree with each other all the time, I mean we don't have be disrespectful but man why always agreeing all the time.
