Currently Addicted to: FFTA2
fun game, im enjoying it immensely. it gives me a great distraction from doing my homework!
i dont like how long it takes to get new weapons, but on the positive side it is structured very well.
anywho, its the first final fantasy game ive played in a long time and im glad i came back, i felt almost redundant for being a part of this forum for so long and not playing that many final fantasy games recently.

Awful disgrace for a FF Tactics fan like myself, for not knowing there's FFTA2 (not knowing the console is still forgiveable though lol). Is FFTA2 downloadable? Its for Nintendo right, have they release it in other consoles or for emulators?
EDIT: Downloaded a NDS emulator with FFTA2 rom, hehe playing it right now. Guess they have demolish the law battle system.

They demolished it up to a point. In most battles it will give you one law to follow and the punishment for breaking that law is much more lenient than in the previous Tactics Advanced. All the punishment does is prevent you from reviving your characters if they die.

Not bad, this idea actually make players appreciate their characters more (I think the producer wants players to emphasize on strategies rather than rush tactics). Well, I'm still ok with the law thing - that what makes Tactics advance unique compare to FFTactics. 
Sigh, the emulator I'm using need some drivers (can't save it) - the other emulator I'm using is so laggy (but can save).
Say, that means LordJ you've finished playing the game or playing it?

My opinion its better than the previous FFTA in terms of storyline and gameplay. Quite fun and addictive like thorlord and malific said, so its a worth it game.
Its for Nintendo DS by the way.

I agree with Leon. It's way better than the last FFTA. Turned out there were quite a few more quests for me to do.

there are 500 some missions to do including the main quest.
the law system does make the game interesting, such as fighting creatures that are weak to fire and then have a law that forbids elemental damage.
my only complaint is that the AI doesnt follow the laws, it would be so much more fun if the AI tried to obey the laws as well.
i guess i enjoyed a stricter law system, it make things more interesting for me.
then again getting bonus items for obeying the law is nice as well. unfortunately they dont scale well. but im now only really obeying the law to use my bonus AP3 ability, (90AP per battle rather than 30)

You're forgetting that the laws are made by one judge who is owned by your clan. Each clan can get their own judge and therefore have their own laws. The chances of your clan and the computer clan getting the same law isn't that high, not to mention the fact that Judges are optional. Monsters obviously don't have their own judges and it's safe to assume that Kamja wouldn't use a judge either.

hrm, i guess i would perfer a universal law as opposed to to each team having a law.
guess i liked the stricter rules quite a bit more.
but yah. im at a little over 150 quests done, and more than halfway through the main storyline. and level 49
