yeah, days involving celebration kind of get overlapped in my family gift-wise....

i had to take pictures with my friends without my family.
it sucks to know that after I worked my ass off for 12 years, I got to hand my mom a rose, get a pic of me taken as i crossed the stage, and that was it. Walking out, the afterwards pics with friends... they were gone. And after i get home, there was a cake on the table for my aunt chris.
i was NOT happy.

ah life, usually my day consists of waking up an hour before i have to be at work, which in itself is a 45 min drive. Much like the character in office space i usually zone out for about 3 hours before i get any real work done. once i do start lunch time rolls around fairly quick. then i spend the rest of the day either on the phone with customers, vendors, and the occasional telemarketers who for some darn reason feel the need to update our internet yellow page listings every other day.... usually i finish out the day hiding out back smoking a cig or two shooting the bull with a few of the guys.
after dealing with work i tend to go hang out with a few of my close friends, play some video games, make some wine, drink some wine, drink something, or cook up some BBQ. if for some reason I'm not out there I'm at home scouring the internet for new useless information and funny demotivational posters via stumbleupon XD

ya know, its not that i don't enjoy what i do, its just i always figured i'd be doing something important with my life. the whole "you can be anything you want, even the president someday if you work hard" mentality i was preached growing up never did pan out.
