Crazed Astronauts
i heard about an astronaut getting a bunch of stuff and was going to kidnap another astronaut for personal reasons. I think she's a nutcase. What do you think?

k, i got this offa wikipedia about Lisa Nowak, in question....
Nowak gained national attention on February 5, 2007, when she was arrested in Orlando, Florida, and subsequently charged with the attempted kidnapping of U.S. Air Force Captain Colleen Shipman, the girlfriend of astronaut William Oefelein. Nowak was released on bail, pleaded not guilty to the charges and requested a jury trial. Nowak's assignment to the space agency as an astronaut was terminated by NASA effective March 8, 2007

yeah, apparently she fell in love when she was in space with the dude and then went out and tried to kidnap his girlfriend in orlando. she was wearing sunglasses, a trench coat, and a wig. she had with her cable, a knife, and a whole bunch of other crap including a gun. Honestly, i think the weeks in space got to her head. I mean really, driving from texas to florida just to kidnap someone? At least by a damn plane ticket.

haha, absolutely mental.
personally, i dont see the draw to space...not much to do up there..id get bored. plus so much effort beforehand to go through just to be able to get up there in the first place.
after all...the best part of going somewhere isnt the journey to get there...yet for a space trip, all it is, is the journey lol.

i'd love to do it once though... i bet the view from up there is wonderfull, and zero gravity can get fun too
i gues i always loved space since a kid, looking at the moon and the stars, interested in spaceshuttles etc
