Chocobo racing
Any tips on making my chocobo faster? He is rank A and can only go about 86 KPH and all the other chocobos can go over 105 KPH, the greens do not improve him, it is impossible to win and raise his class to S!

You can either get a better Chocobo and breed it... Any coloured Chocobo shouldn´t have many problems... Or you can forget charging, and just use Square twice (the one that speeds your Chocobo a bit) and that way, you should beat them, unless that Black Chocobo appears... That one´s hella hard.

I suggest you get a "Wonderful" Chocobo and breed it. In all my years playing and mastering this game, I know the only way to win is to start racing when you get a Gold chocobo. If you feed it the right stuff, you'll beat Teioh(the black chocobo moogle) with no problems.

I´ve managed to race the Green and Blue chocobos up to class S too, but I think I didn´t win often. You´d better do as he says, or use the Wonderful Chocobo for racing. That kicked ass too ^^

I know Teioh has 250 more stamina than what you have, and some more speed. The stronger your Chocobo, the stronger he is. The best way is to use Square repeteadly with a Gold Chocobo having 999 Stamina... That way you´ll do the whole track faster than him, but DON´T charge

I could swear my Wonderful yellow Chocobo did almost as good as the Gold did, even with lower stats... I really don´t get the essence of the speed display.

What does square do? Isn't it Circle to charge?
I have two female wonderful chocobos already, but could never catch a male one, had to settle on a male great chocobo... I was thinking in case I get a female black chocobo I'd have a male wonderful one to breed it with.
How can I get a male wonderful when they're so uncommon to get female ones?

I think my Wonderful was a male one... It is all up to luck, and knowing where to search. I got mine at the northern continent.
