Buy the Wii?
Should I get the Wii? I like a good amount of games for it but most people tell me to get the 360 and some tell me to get the PS3.
Also, If anyone on here has bought the Wii plz post here and say something about it if you'd like.

Apart from the fact that it's a generation above the over consoles in terms of Gameplay? Of course, the 360 has been out for longer so it's got more games which means far more choice. I'd say the best time to get a Wii would probably be Christmas because that's shortly after Super Smash Bros. Brawl comes out and that's one of the most anticipated games.

Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3 (I haven't played it because it's not out over here yet but I know it's been out in America for a couple of months), Excite Truck, Super Mario Galaxy some point later on this year and Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition unless you already have the original version. If you want Multiplayer games then stuff like Warioware Smooth Moves and Wii Play are recomended.
There's also a load of retro games in the Virtual Console shop so if you buy Wii Points you can get some of them.

My friend bahamut_man has a Wii and i've played the original Mario on it. Fun but hard. Warioware smooth moves is fun too. I started playing twilight princess but never got far into the story until i started playing other things. Also, resident evil looks fun especially with the Pistol Grip attachment.
Red Steel looks good but I've heard mixed reviews about it.

If you like shooting games and sword fighting then buy it and see if you like it. A lot of people's problems with it comes from the sword fighting. Apparently it's not very realistic because you can swing the Wii Remote in one direction and the sword will attack in a different direction. It's also hard to do some of the special moves when you're sword fighting once you're learnt them.

I think that would be cooler as just a sword fighting games as opposed to being that plus a shooter. As for RE 4, I think that will be fun  .

It's okay. Most of the actions you'll do are done just by swinging the Wii Remote from side-to-side though. It could have been better if it used the Wii Remote and Joystick for running from the boulders like in the one mini-game in Warioware where you have to run to the end.

I think games like warioware are the funnest because they are just mindless games that require a lot of use with both the joystick and the Wii remote.

The joysticks not used at all. It's mainly the Wii Remote although sometimes you have to swing the Nunchuk as well in certain minigames.

well, as a few ppl already know: i have a wii
if u can, i would recommend getting all 3 consoles.
when u get a wii, here is a suggested starter pack:
1. wii console-$250
2. extra nunchuck-$20
3. wiiplay (comes with wiimote)-$50
4. super paper mario-$50
5. classic controller-$20
6. metroid prime 3-$50
u'll definately like each item

That is a good starter pack, that is probably what I would want to do right off, except for Metroid. I would want to try before I buy on that one.
