Brumos Phone Card = Slot Machine
Can we just replace the use of Strange Ticket to use the Slot machine to get better items?
Cant you replace the Strange Ticket with Brumos Phone Card atleast to make it more reasonable to use the slot machine?

Um, Brumos Phone Cards are worth a tiny fraction of what tickets are, and a lot less than the rares you get. So my view would be a definite no, since it is already quite easy to get rares from the slot machine.

you use Strange Ticket(which is extremely rare) to get another not really rare...i dont see any point on that one....I spend an hour trying to get rares on slot machine(im not using strange ticket hehe)using the normal payment method of 10 gil but im out of luck...i didnt even get any rares....

i think that if you replaced strange tickets with brumos phone cards the drop of those would fall...and they would become something like strange tickets are now eventually...
cause if that wouldnt happen then you could just increase the drop of strange tickets and you wouldnt need to replace them (with which i wouldnt argue cause i havent got one in ages lol)

But Strange Tickets have other purpose like combining which is really important...unlike Brumos Phone Card it's only good for being a ticket for using the slot machine...

Spending gil on the slot machine will never produce a rare. The only way to "win" a rare is to use a Strange Ticket. The prize for using one is set up the same way the gil rewards are, the better the matching of reels, the better the prize of a rare.
Now if we were to replace the ticket with the BPC, I would have to replace all those rares with gil and/or items you could buy out of the shop for prizes since the BPC is the most common rare item of them all and usage would increase dramatically and change all those rare items into rares anyone could get anytime thus making them not much of a rare anymore. Know what I mean?

yeah i guess it would be good even if the price is not rare as long as we can use the BPC in Slot Machine and even if the price are items that you can buy from the shop...(atleast can you make the item high lvl lolz)

well its one way or the other.... use the BPC to win gil & shop items or use the Strange Ticket to win rares including a chance to win a rare (or 2) that doesn't currently drop. It cant be both ways at the same time. So I would suggest making a poll (just edit your 1st post) and let's see how everyone else feels about this.

That Should do it...seriously i prefer the Strange Ticket for rare items but it's sooo freakin hard to get one and i still need to combine a couple of those items that require strange ticket so i cant waste even one....i hope i can save my game before using slot machine..

I donīt agree with your suggestion Gust, many people have used Strange Tickets countless times for combinations. Trust me, I really like the idea of having the Shining Mail if it couldnīt be obtained by any other way but buying, but I wonīt stick with your idea.
I like the system the way it is... Maybe just making tickets a bit more common could do the job lol

but if you increase the drop of strange ticket then it's gonna be easy to get rares...so increasing it's drop is not a good idea...the best thing would be to make the useless BPC and put it in some good use...

Well, I would make MILLIONS if they were used for Slot Machine for normal items, and Iīm talking about a slight increment of dropping in battle only, I know what it is when Strange Tickets are too common.

well it's not like once you use a BPC in slot machine you will always get items..and it's not like every time you win in slot machine using BPC you will get extremely high lvl items...and it's not like you wont run out of BPC ....

Same here i got lots of it hehe..anyways what im saying is its not likely that we will get rich of using BPC to get normal items cause the risk is 1/3...and of those 1/3 the possibility of getting a high lvl item is pretty slim(if kimbrrli sets it that way)..so it's not really unfair..BPC rare = normal items i think it's a good exchange...but just like what i said on my post i prefer the Strange Ticket for rare because once i combine all the items that needs strange ticket on it then for me Strange Ticket will be worth less than before and will be use on slot machine to gain more rares....
