Broken data!
Anyone know why this might be?! My game loads fine then one day its broken! I lost my FF8 game! :'( I wasn't very far which is good but its still annoying!
Please help! (this is my PS1 memory card on playstation 1 and 2 btw)

It happens on a lot of FF8 cd-s O.o
Well it happened to me in the part where you're supposed to board that Bus 8 I think.
I kept trying and trying and it worked. So... keep trying O.o Maybe it works out.

The problem is with my memory card i think, but the data is still there just "Damaged" But whats odd is i tryed to start plating again but its wouldnt save my progress and my playstation 2 memory card wouldnt save it, which makes me think its a problem with the disc but it plays fine just doesnt save! Its really annoying!

ah. this happened with me with my ff8 disc 1. i turned the playsation upside down and it worked XD

played that specific part, since it was the end of disk one,
a dont know if ts a specific part of yours that is corrupted
so itd be best to try and save at every encounter.

Ah, yeah i cant load the game, ill try it but i think iv lost it :'( AND! i cant save on to anything else! its stupid!

well... you cant save a ps1 game on a ps2 card. that will never work directly. as for your ps1 card... the only time that data would normally be lost, is if say you were saving and you pulled out the card, or the power went out while you were saving. something along those lines.

Hmmm... Well i didnt do that.. My other game works so its just my FF8 stuff. And i cant see it when i lok at my memory card, its just blank but i can load my other games.
Ill try delting some of the others and see if that helps.
