The most recent PC I built is an AMD 4400+ Dual Core CPU with 2 (160GB) WD Harddrives running in RAID 0. A Geforce 7900 GT card (may get a second one to run in SLI mode, but this card pushes everything at max already so there is no need) and 2GB of Kingston RAM since I am not an overclocker. To go along with an Abit KN8 motherboard.
The weird thing is that I thought my system would be so extremely fast but the harddrives will always be the bottleneck. I am also surprised that I am not even satisfied with having a PC like this, yeah all of the games look great but you get used to it after a while.

Don't worry, there isn't a jaw dropping difference between this year's computers and the last. Sure statistically they make it seem like the new hardware could load every program in one millisecond, and the benchmarks display a huge increase, but the human eye shows differently. I do expect an increase when Vista OS comes out, but who knows when that is ready. I tried Windows XP 64 but there were no drivers to work with my card, I searched everywhere.
