Boy, did i have a shock today...
Today, my family had a reunion.
and usually, when my family gets together, there's some sort of fight. like, screaming, throwing things, etc.
but, today...
there wasn't a fight o.o There were two arguments, once over a foul ball, once over whose turn it was to bat. no screaming, no throwing things.
I was amazed. Even my aunt (who is typically not all that niceok, she's a total biotch) was being pleasant! She was chitchatting with my mother and my other aunt!
I was sitting there, just WAITING for someone to do something to light the fuses... but it didn't happen. I was amazed. We were playing softball and still no fights. I was sitting there thinking that 'this isnt my family'

almost any family
when they get together have at least one argument
i can tell yuou i cant think of ONE family party i have been too that hasnt ended in violence or tears XD

its a 50/50 thing... if the mood is good then when people have a drink they become less hostile and more friendly...
but in other cases its drinking that leads to a lot of the arguments

campaign is the only thing i can can stand because we get asti, which is super sweet. It's that or wine at toasts with my family. i tried fake drinking it once and i got yelled at. It's apparently bad luck to not drink with the rest of the family.
