Blargh to Ze final fantazies!
I will say right off the bat that i am not that big of a fan of Final fantasy, never did care much for 7 (i view it as just a fad deal most times) but 8&9 kept my interest. But Squenix's new attempts at games are just coming off as cheap FF rip offs.
Exec-"hey! we need a new game.but i dont want to spend a ton of money writing a new story and devloping new characters"
Work Thrall-"why dont we just move some polygons around, make a few new backgrounds and call it a different game?"
exec-"you! promotion!"
It just really seems that game companies now are going with generic stories and characters. Video games are also taking a turn for an uber amount of violence which i think could be left out. Suenix made me sad the day i saw the trailer for FF12 it looked like a mish mash of an old story and a relavtively newer one (i.e. FF9).
so heres a little activity.
"if you could create your own game that would be made my Squenix would it be a Final Fantasy title? or would it be a completely new game?

I definatley would want to create a FF title! That is my dream to live in Japan and work on the FF series if not work for SquareSoft ( I know merger and all but they were better before the merger)
