FFIII had Luneth as the main character. Firion (dunno if that's the spelling) was from FFII.
And FFV's main character was definitely not someone who dies halfway into the game. Butz/Bartz was the main character.
And FFVI had no main character. If any, it was Terra, but I suggest you remove that option, because there were quite a few characters with deep storylines, though none that you had to use (some examples of well-developed characters: Terra, Locke, Celes, Cyan, Edgar, Sabin).
Oh and btw you have the FFV char right, Butz, Bartz, Ass, whatever you want to call him wasn't really the main char. You just got to control him in the beginning.
Though seriously if Im out walking around in the night to ASDA with the pedo/rapist/murderer/psycho of questionable sanity vampy....who do I have to be afraid of? XD

He WAS the main character. Just because a character is not as developed as another doesn't mean that he isn't the main character. The main character is the one who's eyes you see through, and Butz/Bartz was almost always in your team, no matter what happened (except for certain short events).
Galuf cannot be a main character if he DIES halfway into the game. Seriously, that means there is no main character after that point, which is not possible. Who's the new one? Ex-death?
