Best normal battle music and Boss battle music
normal battle to me has gota go to 9 for me because it was a lot like the early ffs w/the the way it starts...but to be honest when i first got the game i thot it was boss music it sounded more like it to me
and for boss.............FF7 ALL THE WAY!
anytime i heard that music i wanted to jump up in the air except i might die...but yea it was awesome

Battle music like FF9 it was just a lil bit better than 7 and 8 which are good to but i dont like the boss of ff9 
Boss music FF7 ofcourse for it is the best.

IX and X had the more evil sound to bosses
but VII(and VIII) had some really cool sounding music for it
i think VIII was a close 2nd to it

I didnt like the FF9 boss and the FF10 boss was ok but i liked the music it used for Yunalesca its called "challenge" it also plays it when you fight Omega weapon. Yunalesca is like Hojo form ff7 for they come in 3 forms and you fight em all in 1 battle. I liked the part in FF7 which i think is as your leaving Shinra corp and your going down an outside elevactor thingy and a monster happens to be in the other 1. You kill the monster than a flying 1 would apear (battle doesnt end) then you have to kill the flying type and win. Funny boss was when yoru fighting that fat guy in the town with the plane and yo usee the chopper in the background of the battle and he gets knocked over when you take hsi hp to 0.
