I was wondering what you thought the best boss battle in Final Fantasy was. Mine would be in FF10 when you fight lord Braskas Final Summon ( A.K.A. Jecht)

Fighting the three statues on FF6 on my first play was amazing, they were tough but... Now when I fight them I find them quite easy, sometimes being a noob can be better.
Also can mention one fight I had with Sephiroth on my second game... Cait Sith > Slots > BAR BAR BAR > Knights of the Round > Bye bye Sephie

How about Knights of the Round with quadra magic?
Anyways, I'm thinking that Hades in FF9 was a good fight because it went against my style. Since almost every fight near the end of the game barely involves any physical attacks, I just boosed up my magic defence and my spirit when leveling. As it turns out, this leaves Hades with the chance to hit 4000+ (all) with his "cleave" attack.

Oh fighting Hades with a low leveled party was quite fun too, even though he crushed me. So low leveled that I had an epic fight of around 20 minutes (maybe more) against Necron in order to win.
